Job Title: Head-Audit
Responsible to: GM Operation and President/CEO

Integrated Catering Company Ltd., the owners of the brand name The Promise, one of the fastest growing indigenous fast food chains in Nigeria, offering world class catering services to her numerous customers, with its Head Office in Port Harcourt, urgently requires the services of a qualified auditor to head her Audit Department.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1. Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
2. Report to management about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities.
3. Prepare detailed reports on audit findings.
4. Review data about material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, and expenditures.
5. Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness and use of accepted accounting procedure to record transactions.
6. Examine and evaluate financials and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
7. Supervise auditing of establishments, and determine scope of investigation required.
8. Prepare, analyze, and verify annual reports, financial statements, and other records, using accepted accounting and statistical procedure to assess financial condition and facilitate financial planning.
9. Confer with company officials about financial and regulatory matters.
10. Inspect cash on hand notes receivable and payable, negotiable securities, canceled checks to confirm records are accurate.
11. Examine inventory to verify journal and ledger entries.
12. Audit payroll for accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
13. Audit and approve budgets from outlets.
14. Coordinate other auditors in the department to ensure that audit objectives of the company are realized.

QUALIFICATION

An interested candidate must:

• possess a BSc. in accounting or its equivalent and major in audit;
• have minimum of five years experience as an auditor in the fast food industry; and
• be professionally certified.
